I want to share with anyone finding my blog that you should not let anything hold you back from doing what you want to do. Let go of the fears holding you back and focus on doing what makes you happy. I am just getting started in this world of blogging and sharing my thoughts with you, my audience. I am not new because I have been living under a rock and just learning what a powerful tool the internet can be, but because I was afraid. I was fearful of letting other people see my ideas and having them judge me. I have been working hard on letting go of this fear.

I certainly know that letting go of fear is much easier said than done. I have been struggling with this fear of being seen online for a long, long time. When I take the time to think about it, this is not the first time I let go of my fears, and I know it won’t be the last.

The time letting go of my fears changed my life the most was when I finally took the plunge to attend concerts and music festivals by myself. I had a great friend that had gone with me several times and help build my confidence in being around the EDM scene. However, when they were not able to attend with me, I decided it was time to let go of the fear of attending an event alone.

My first concert alone did feel strange, especially watching all the groups of people together. However, for the most part people were warm and welcoming, but I was there for the music that I loved and over all had an amazing time. It gave me the boost I needed to go ahead and buy tickets for a multi-day event and the ticket for my first ever music festival.

I went solo to that multi-day event and it literally changed my life forever. I met someone that took me on an entirely new path I would have never imagined for myself, but in the most amazing ways possible. But, this is a story for another day. (A true love story so be sure to check back if you’re a romantic.)

The biggest take away is never let fear stop you from doing something that you truly want to do. You never know where that first step will lead you, and it could be even more amazing than you could have ever imagined.
