I’ve been experimenting a bit more with layers and lights. I made the below by laser cutting 7 layers of circles out of 3mm base board. Only two layers have designs and there are two layers with cuts to allow the lights to be inserted or removed as needed. I used a bit of super glue to attach each layer together. These are not very big coming in around 3″ in diameter.

This is something I am playing around with at a few different scales as I make some gifts for my friends. Be sure to stay tuned for updates on those. This was just something I put together to test it out and I am already learning a lot.
